Anthony McDaniel

Anthony McDaniel practices in the area of education law and litigation with an emphasis on student discipline, student civil rights, and discrimination at the state and federal levels. Anthony focuses his time on litigation, but frequently addresses general counsel matters. As such, he is experienced in applying district board policies to the general day-to-day needs for public school entities as well as in litigation in complex lawsuits. Anthony frequently partners with districts to discuss further training on best practices for discrimination and harassment investigations. When he is not actively working on a legal matter for a school district, you will frequently see Anthony participating in local school district events. Anthony is a member of MSBA’s Council of School Attorneys (COSA), is involved in the Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Foundation (KCMBF) and is the Immediate Past President of the Jackson County Bar Association (JCBA).
